  Austin Police SWAT team members stand down after securing a home in northeast Austin on Patton Lane looking for possible suspects from a robbery shooting in the early morning hours where an Austin Police officer shot and killed a heavily-armed suspect.

Austin Police officers responded to an early morning disturbance in the 7600 block of Blessing Ave. in northeast Austin where armed gunmen stormed a house and fired shots. When police arrived a chase occurred leading to another shootout this time with officers and the death of one suspect. Police are continuing the search for more suspects in the area.
