Barton Springs Nursery manager Dave Lavrinets waters a Spanish Dagger on a windy cool afternoon. The dagger is more commonly referred to as a Yucca plant or even more curiously a Joshua Tree. Some species are extremely frost resistant, while others are not. With a freeze warning upcoming, its maybe best to cover your plants just in case.
