A house fire at 11619 Natrona Drive in north Austin caused considerable damage to the entire structure as nine Austin Fire Department units fought the blaze. A housekeeper was the only person home at the time and rescued the family dog securing its safety before vacating the premises and calling 911. A firefighter rolls up hose after the fire was extinguished.

  1. Do you know anything about the family? If they have children, and if they are in need of any clothing items etc? We live on the next street over. Do not know the family, but would like to help if we can.

    • I’m sorry. I did not have the opportunity to meet the family. I know a woman owns the house and might have had others living with her, but I really don’t know. You are so kind to offer assistance, and I would suggest dropping by in hopes of finding her there. I know her neighbors are fairly close so they might be able to help. Thanks for thinking of them and best wishes.
