Alvin Bronstein is a Washington, D.C. lawyer who was very active in giving legal protection to Martin Luther King, Jr. during King’s activities in the 1960’s. I am trying to get in touch with Mr. Bronstein regarding a class-action lawsuit on behalf of inmates. We have documentation from over 350 inmates in WI prisons who have been denied parole based on “not enough time served”. This is totally against the regulations of the Parole Commission itself because they are to have a presumption of release when they have a hearing. If the inmates have done nothing wrong while in prison and have done their programs and have support etc. they should be let out. Stan Stojkovic from the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare at UWMilwaukee would like to have a symposium on prisons and the parole system at the University. He would like to bring some light to the masses. Could someone get me contact information on Mr. Bronstein. Thanks. Kathleen
