Lance Armstrong joined supporters of Smoke-Free Texas at the Capitol to announce results of a statewide poll showing Texans overwhelmingly support comprehensive, statewide protections from secondhand smoke. State senator Rodney Ellis, right, is sponsoring senate bill 544 and State Representative Myra Crownover, left, is sponsoring House Bill 5 this session to try and make this a realty. Armstrong, a cancer survivor and founder of the Lance Armstrong Foundation, has put his star-power behind the initiative for Texas to become the 25th state in the nation to be smoke free.
