Lake Mueller Park, located at the old Mueller Airport site near the information center, is a wonderful park on 30 acres of land featuring an open amphitheater and stage, interactive playscape, picnic areas and a looping jogging trail. If you have time it is a great place to take the kids and let them run wild while you get some exercise walking the trail taking in the sites. And almost everyday is a fantastic sunset. 1. Hello,

I just wanted to say I loved visiting the old Mueller Airport many times as a child during the 50’s and 60’s. I remember the DC3s, Convairs, and the beautiful sunsets.
