The Austin Groups for the Elderly (AGE) honored recent Austin civic icon and founder of the organization, Willie Kocurek with a tree planting in their “Legacy Walkway and Founders Garden” Sunday afternoon at their location at 3710 Cedar Street in central Austin. Maurine Kocurek, wife of the late Kocurek and seated in the wheelchair at left, greets well wishers after the tree planing ceremony in front of the building along W. 38th St.
