 Dara Torres swam the Women’s 50 freestyle to a first place time of 24.91 at the Austin Grand Prix 2009 held at the Lee & Joe Jamial Swim Center on the University of Texas campus Thursday night.

Torres was all smiles as she acknowledges the crowd who came out to see her first swim following her appearance in the Bejing Olympics.

Fred Bousquet swam the fastest time ever in the United States in the Men’s 50 freestyle with a time of 21.44 . He said afterwards he was disappointed in the time.

 Bejing Olympian Katie Hoff swam the Women’s 400 freestyle to a first place finish with a time of 4.07.28 Thursday night.
