The Wednesday night lineup of Little League games at the Oak Hill Youth Sports Association in south Austin was cancelled due to a severe thunderstorm warming and tornado watch that caught players, coaches and parents off-guard with the quickness of the cold front and heavy rains. Christoper Alvarez carries his equipment bag to the car after his Mustang league game was called just before it was scheduled to start. “He was praying to play.” said his father James.
