Teenage Basketball Players from Japan Visit Austin for Exhibition Games

Girls and Boys’ basketball teams from Fukuoka City, Japan are visiting Austin playing exhibition games at Bowie H.S. against all-star teams from Texas within the same 13-14 age group. This is a story with hopefully good visuals as they immerse themselves in American and Texan culture for the short time they are here. I planned to go shopping with them at Target this afternoon, but when I got there they were so tired from their travels they were sleeping on the tour bus as their parents went inside the store. I did manage to cover two games tonight, so stay tuned to our sports section for the complete story in the next few days.
