The Original L.C. Anderson Alumni Association held their 2009 All Class Reunion on site of the old campus in east Austin which is now the Boys and Girls Club of Austin and an alternative school campus. The school was founded in 1907 and held classes through 1971. Members of the Class of 1966 have their photography taken and some of them are from left seated, Phillis Walls Cooke, Ruby Williams Earl, Karen Crawford Edwards and George Dixon. “We ruled this place.” said Ruby Williams Earl. I live in Fresno, California for the past 30 years and I enjoy coming back here to see family and friends. Its so hard to describe the feelings, to put into words, but it feels so good.” she continued.
