Have you ever felt like this?

I couldn’t resist taking this picture even though it has absolutely nothing to do with anything, but it reminded me so much of the TV sitcom “The Office”. Harvey Laas is a super intelligent, incredibly talented person who runs the Waller County Family Community Health Clinic in Brookshire, Texas, a distant suburb west of Houston. Waller County has the fewest physicians per patient ratio in Texas as it struggles to attract doctors for quality health care in rural communities. Laas is rancher by trade and a health care advocate by passion. I had the opportunity to visit his operation yesterday for a future story and was smitten by this awkward moment between us, but it in no way reflects his personality. I was proving a point that photographs can reveal so much about a person, but at the same time can tell you so very little.
