On a recent mini-tour of San Antonio we hit many hotspots of interest checking out cool restaurants and art scenes while always intending to hit La Tuna Bar. Unfortunately it was closed, too early to drink I imagine, but still enjoyed the thousands upon thousands of bottle caps that decorate, I won’t say litter because its more of an art statement than discarded trash, the parking lot and common area. Next door is La Tuna Grill, for the hungry sort. If you’re cruising the King William District stop by 100 Probandt Rd. for a tasty meal and cool beer.
