I couldn’t resist this sign at the entrance to the Wildlife Rescue headquarters in east Austin. It sums it up. I was on the premise for another reason, the Blair Woods Preserve, which is in need of volunteers to shape trails and rid non-native species of plants in order to restore the ten-acre wooded tract into a preserve and living lab for education.
