Paul Devoe Capital Murder Trial Continues in 403rd Criminal District Court

Testimony continued in the 403rd Criminal District Court of Brenda Kennedy in the Capital murder trial of Paul Devoe at the Blackwell-Thurman Criminal Justice Center in Travis County Tuesday. Devoe is on trial for the murders of Haylie Faulkner, 15, and Haylie’s friend Danielle Hensley, 17, during a crime spree in August 2007, in which he shot and killed six people before being apprehended in upstate New York. The prosecution called several witnesses ranging from investigators with the Marble Falls police department, to the medical examiners office and a musician who was playing in the bar in which Mike Allred was murdered, the first of the six killings. Devoe, the last pictured at right, turns to watch victim family members leave the courtroom during a break.
