Colt McCoy Throws for First Time Since Injury at Pro Timing Day

Texas quarterback Colt McCoy threw in public for the first time since his injury in the BCS National Championship game for NFL pro scouts at the Texas Football Pro Timing Day Wednesday afternoon. McCoy was a perfect 46 for 46 and said his performance was “Perfect” afterwards inside the Texas indoor facility. He is flanked by his offensive coordinator Greg Davis, left, and receiver Trevor Gerland, right, who helped preserve his perfect performance by not dropping a pass.

This kind of assignment is among the most difficult to photograph. The indoor facilities are dark and crowded and the picture possibilities are few and far between. I push my cameras to the limits, try different angles and hope something is in focus that is usable. I’m just glad this day is over, because I still never finished yesterday’s work.
