A Game For the Ages and a Little League Championship

Teammates congratulate Bailey Pratt who slammed a one-out solo home run over the right field fence to tie the game in the sixth and last inning.

In a game for the ages the Yankees won the Pinto division of the Oak Hill Youth Sports Association in one of the best games I have ever seen. Trailing most of the game they tied it with one out in their last at bat with a solo home run by Bailey Pratt and won it outright when Mathew Escamilla drove in Blake Bryant with the winning run to secure a 15-14 victory as they sweep through the end of the year tournament. With standing room only in the stands and fans lining both outfield lines, it was a fantastic ending to a dream season for these kids who average eight years of age. Hats off to the Orioles who had a wonderful season and put up a tremendous challenge.
