As May creeps into June the slow climb upward of high temperatures already is approaching summer like normals. Friday’s high will be 95 degrees. As the temperatures climb rowers and skullers are taking to Lady Bird Lake earlier to beat the heat while still getting in their workout. This picture was taken from the Pfluger pedestrian bridge, which is undergoing an extension north over Cesar Chavez St., as this skuller heads westward under the Lamar Blvd. bridge.
