Relive the Civil War, Okay Maybe Not, But Close Enough

The Society for Historical Archeology presented “Crossroads in Texas History” a public archeology exposition featuring educational resources from Texas Beyond History, a part of the Texas Archeological Research Laboratory at the University of Texas at Austin. Dr. Victor S. Alpher, from Austin, is Historian and Surgeon of the Major George W. Littlefield Camp within the Sons of the Confederate Veterans Camp #59, and an expert on Civil War history, demonstrates the firing technique of a rifle during battle to a group of curious onlookers. The event took place in the Hilton Hotel in downtown Austin.
