Friends and neighbors of Elizabeth Escobar, whose dead body was found in a field during a brush fire recently, gather at the front door of her apartment in the Booker T. Washington Terrace apartments in east Austin Friday evening to hold a vigil in remembrance for their popular neighbor and friend. Shyra Sauls, standing at center, is overcomed with grief as she cries for her best friend of over nine years as she pays her respects to a make-shift memorial on her front steps.
